The Philadelphia 76ers hit the road to take on the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday to begin a three-game trip. They already knew they would be down three starters. Now they will be down one of their top defenders as well.
Matisse Thybulle, who has been hampered by an ankle issue in recent games, will be held out against the Hornets. The Sixers needed bodies recently so the defensive standout did his best to ensure he would be available, but he just didn’t look like himself.
Thybulle missed the second half of Tuesday’s win over the Brooklyn Nets and he will miss the game in Charlotte due to left ankle tenosynovitis.
No Matisse Thybulle (left ankle tenosynovitis) for the Sixers tonight against the Hornets.
Maxey, Harden, Embiid and Springer are still out.

This is nothing new for the Sixers at the moment. They have been hit with the injury bug all season and the challenge now will be to continue to find a way to win.
Tipoff from the Spectrum Center is set for 7 p.m. EST.
