Philadelphia 76ers guard, turned TikTok superstar, Matisse Thybulle tried his hand at playing NBA 2K on Friday night and the rookie will likely want to stick to his day job after his performance.
The 76ers and Phoenix Suns were scheduled to play on Friday night but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the game, obviously, did not happen. So Thybulle linked up with Suns guard Mikal Bridges for a friendly game of NBA 2K20, which was streamed live on Twitch.
Bridges led his Suns to the 75-64 victory over Thybulle and the 76ers. The game was broadcast on radio on Arizona Sports KMVP-FM 98.7 in Phoenix, the first NBA 2K game to be called on the radio.

The two players were clearly beginners on the game as Thybulle said at one point, “I don’t even know how to play this game.” He later asked which button was used to shoot the ball while Bridges said he only started played 48 hours earlier.

With sports at a halt, the game likely helped served as a diversion for many fans as the commentary from the two players was certainly more entertaining than the game itself.
