Philadelphia 76ers rookie Matisse Thybulle has stayed productive during the coronavirus outbreak. That is, of course, if you count the work he has put in on TikTok.
Thybulle has become a bit of a TikTok sensation since the NBA shut down the regular season because of the coronavirus pandemic. Some of his videos have amassed over 250,000 views on the social media outlet as he attempts to stay busy around the house.
The guard recently discussed his newfound fame on TikTok with Serena Winters of NBC Sports Philadelphia and gave a behind-the-scenes look into how long it takes to create some of his videos.
“The one where I was dribbling around in my jersey, that one took me all day — like, hours,” Thybulle said. “I hate being in front of the camera. Even by myself with my camera propped up on a book, I still sucked so it took me like a million takes to do anything.”

Thybulle went onto say that he is trying to stay as active as possible but admitted it has been difficult to do in self-isolation without access to a gym or workout equipment. Players are having to resort to finding creative exercises to do around the house and some are even relying on ideas from their trainers or teams.
In any case, fans should expect to continue to see more TikTok content from Thybulle in the future.
