Massive number of wild-card tickets were bought by Rams fans in 1st hour

Rams fans bought 25,000 tickets to Monday’s game in just the 1st hour they were on sale

The NFL might have moved Monday night’s Rams-Vikings game 380 miles away from SoFi Stadium due to the LA wildfires, but that’s not stopping fans from scooping up tickets in bunches.

Tickets went on sale Friday morning at 10 a.m. PT for season ticket members and in just the first hour, a huge number of them were sold. According to the Rams, season ticket members bought 25,000 tickets to the game in the first hour that they were on sale.

For a stadium with a seating capacity of 63,400, that means more than a third of the seats have already been filled by Rams fans. And that’s even before the general public sale begins at 12 p.m. PT.

According to NFL VP of Communications Brian McCarthy, 52,000 total tickets were sold during the two hours of presale reserved for Rams season ticket members. Assuming most of those fans keep their tickets instead of reselling them on the secondary market, it should be a large contingent of Rams fans in attendance.

The Rams are doing everything they can to ensure there’s at least some home-field advantage at State Farm Stadium, from an early-access ticket sale for LA fans to charter buses that will bring season ticket members to and from the game.

Even with the game being played nearly 400 miles away in a completely different state, Rams fans are still expected to pack the building on Monday night.
