Former Alabama defensive back Marlon Humphrey confirms via Twitter that he has tested positive for COVID-19 less than 24 hours after playing in Baltimore Ravens’ loss to Pittsburgh Steelers.
Humphrey missed practice last week with an illness, along with multiple other Ravens players, in preparation for the Steelers game.
The 2017 first-round draftee played every single snap vs Pittsburgh, which will force the Steelers to also quarantine and test players due to exposure.
In response to the Crimson Tide product testing positive for the virus, the Baltimore Ravens have released a statement regarding their adherence to the NFL’s guidelines and protocols, as did the Steelers.
This is not an isolated incident within the league after yesterday, the Minnesota Vikings also had members test positive, forcing the Green Bay Packers to also fall into intensive protocol.
Roll Tide Wire will keep you updated on the health of Marlon Humphrey and the state of the NFL as they attempt to contain the virus and mitigate its spread across the league.
