Mark Pope has contacted 2025 recruit Jordan Scott for Kentucky basketball

Four-star 2025 recruit Jordan Scott has been contacted by Kentucky basketball.

Kentucky basketball coach Mark Pope has begun to recruit for the 2025 season, even as he is still working on his 2024 roster. He had previously been in contact with Darryn Peterson, a top five player in the class. According to On3’s Jamie Shaw, he has also contacted forward Jordan Scott.

Scott is a four-star small forward, ranked 53rd overall by 247sports. He’s listed as being 6’7″, 185 lbs, so he has good size and could grow more as well.

Pope hasn’t officially offered Scott yet, but has spoken to him. He told On3 this:

They weren’t recruiting me at BYU so this was a new contact. They just called and were asking about my day and getting to know me. That is really the only school that I have talked with that hasn’t offered yet.

Scott does have offers from several schools already, including Michigan State and Indiana among others. Big Blue Nation will have to wait and see if Pope does make an offer to him, and then, where he winds up.
