Earvin ‘Magic’ Johnson is, without a doubt, the greatest Michigan State basketball player of all time, and he’s also one of the greatest basketball players of all time, period.
On April 22, Apple TV+ subscribers will be able to watch the full story of Magic Johnson, from his days in Lansing, to his dominant rise at Michigan State, his Lakers stardom, and his massive, historic impacts off the court in the new docuseries ‘They Call Me Magic’.
The documentary will explore his time at MSU, his time with the ‘Showtime’ Lakers, his infamous battle with HIV, and his work off the court helping to calm gang violence in Los Angeles.
