LSU’s offensive keys to the game against Missouri

As No. 17 LSU heads to Columbia, the offense must continue its success to defeat Missouri.

Keep the drive alive

LSU put up 41 points last week against Vanderbilt in a one-sided game. Going into Saturday, the Tigers’ offense has begun to click at every position. The offensive line gave Brennan more time in the pocket and opened lanes in the running game.

For the Tigers to avoid an upset, the offense has to keep the drives alive deep into Missouri territory and find the end zone.

LSU has converted just 31% of its third down attempts this season. That number has to increase on Saturday.

The Tigers are 6-for-7 in the red zone, and will look to find the end zone early and often this weekend. On first downs, the Tigers are outscoring opponents 53-41.
