While there’s a bit of a budding rivalry on the court between LSU women’s basketball star [autotag]Angel Reese[/autotag] and Iowa’s Caitlin Clark after the two squared off in the national title game last year, it seems it’s all respect off the court.

Clark made history on Thursday night, breaking Kelsey Plum’s all-time women’s college basketball scoring record with 3,528 points. She’s also within arm’s reach of Pete Maravich’s all-time record of , regardless of gender.

In the wake of Clark’s momentous achievement, Reese took to Twitter/X to congratulate her on making history — or “her-story,” as Reese put it.

“Congratulations Caitlin Clark KEEP BREAKING RECORDS & MAKING HER-STORY!”

Clark and Reese are both among the premier players in the sport, and we’ll see if we’re ultimately treated to a rematch in this year’s NCAA tournament.
