LSU vs. Florida football betting line, odds, spread for week 12

Here’s the betting info for LSU’s SEC showdown with Florida

LSU will look to avoid an Alabama hangover this week when the Tigers travel to Gainesville to take on Florida. LSU was in a similar situation last year and got the bounceback with QB Jayden Daniels totaling over 600 yards vs. the Gators.

Brian Kelly is 2-0 vs. Florida but LSU doesn’t have Daniels to count on this year.

LSU needs both sides of the ball to get back on track. The offense has been out of sync and the defense can’t stop a dual-threat QB.

The Tigers may see that again this week if UF’s DJ Lagway plays. But Florida may hesitate to run a QB coming off a hamstring injury.

Lagway can hurt LSU with his arm though. When he’s in there, Florida’s offense is one of the most explosive in the country.

UF’s defense is trying to figure some things out too. The Gators tend to give up some big plays and LSU will need to take advantage of that.

Here’s the betting info for Saturday’s contest.

LSU vs Florida prediction, pick

I’m expecting DJ Lagway to play for Florida. That makes this a game. LSU’s last six quarters of football haven’t gone well, but the schedule gets lighter now. Florida has the offensive firepower to score on LSU. This one is back-and-forth but Nussmeier plays a strong second-half to give LSU the win.

Florida covers the spread, though.

Prediction: LSU 33, Florida 30
