LSU Tigers among top 12 vying for 2023 No. 1 OT Kadyn Proctor

LSU Tigers among top 12 for 2023 No. 1 offensive tackle.

Based on how the offensive line has performed over the last season and into this year, it is clear the team needs help in the trenches. Current right tackle Austin Deculus is in his final season with the Tigers, what is the future plan? The team does have five-star offensive tackle Will Campbell pledged to join in 2022.

Looking towards 2023, LSU was mentioned among the top schools for the No. 1 offensive tackle in the country, Kadyn Proctor of Des Moines. He will be in attendance for the Iowa-Iowa State game this coming weekend. Those two schools are in the running for his commitment. They are likely in the driver’s seat given they are in-state.

Other schools in the running with LSU are Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Texas A&M from the SEC. Future SEC schools Oklahoma and Texas are on his top list. Clemson, Notre Dame, and Ohio State round out the list. Proctor hasn’t scheduled a visit to Baton Rouge at this point in the process.

No timetable has been set to narrow down his list further.
