LSU’s coaching staff took a trip to Dallas as they search for their next star linebacker. They may have found him at Skyline High School.
[autotag]Elijah Barnes[/autotag] is a 6-foot-3, 215-pound, four-star linebacker in the 2025 recruiting class. He plays for the Skyline Raiders, who finished the 2022 season 0-10, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t have any great players.
Barnes is an exception as he holds multiple Division I offers. There are no crystal ball projections for him but SMU is a 33% favorite per On3.
Film Analysis: Barnes is a great athlete that can make plays on both sides of the ball. He plays middle linebacker for the Raiders and uses great vision to find the ball carrier and take him down.
