LSU makes top 8 for four-star wide receiver

The Tigers are making a push for Florida wideout Tawaski Abrams.

[autotag]Tawaski Abrams[/autotag] is a 5-foot-11, 175-pound, four-star wide receiver in the 2024 recruiting class. He is from Fort Myers, Florida, where he plays for Dunbar High School. The Dunbar Tigers finished the 2022 season 10-2 with a loss to Daytona Beach Mainland in the Class 3S semifinals.

Abrams was a star for the Tigers and his stats from the season earned him a spot on the first-team All-State team. Abrams recently released a list of his top eight schools, and the LSU Tigers made the list. LSU joins Florida State, Vanderbilt, Florida A&M, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

The LSU 2024 recruiting class is currently ranked as the No. 2 class in the country with eight commitments so far including wide receiver [autotag]Joseph Stone[/autotag] from Langston Hughes High School in Georgia.

Abrams has no Crystal Ball projections at this time, but Florida State is currently a 44% favorite per On3 with LSU being the second favorite at 20%.
