One of the top cornerbacks in the 2024 recruiting class has trimmed his list of finalists down to five schools. The LSU Tigers made the list.
[autotag]Ondre Evans[/autotag] is a 6-foot-1, 185-pound, four-star cornerback from Nashville, Tennessee where he plays for Christ Presbyterian Academy. The CPA Lions finished the 2022 season 8-6 with a loss to Lipscomb Academy in the TSSAA Division II Class 2A state championship game.
LSU made the cut for his final five schools along with, Alabama, Georgia, NC State and Michigan. There are no Crystal Ball projections at this time but NC State is a 54% favorite to land him per On3.
He broke down his list with On3.
“All five on my list are very good programs,” Evans told On3. “They are all sending guys to the NFL. The coaches at each school know how to develop players. I can say I have some better relationships with specific coaches at the different schools, but I like the staffs overall at all five schools.”
