Last season, LSU went into Tuscaloosa and defeated Alabama in a 46-41 victory to mark their first win over the Crimson Tide in eight years.
Heisman-winning quarterback Joe Burrow led the way, but has since departed to the NFL. Now, it will be up to Myles Brennan to lead the charge at quarterback.
The Tigers host the Crimson Tide in Tiger Stadium on November 7. Like last season, this could be another top-five matchup should both teams be undefeated then.
Alabama returns quarterback Mac Jones, who passed for 1,503 yards with 14 touchdowns and three interceptions after replacing Tua Tagovailoa due to injury against Mississippi State.

Running back Najee Harris also returns for the Tide. as he is entering his senior season. In 2019, Harris rushed for 1,224 yards and 13 touchdowns on 209 rushing attempts. At receiver, the Crimson Tide return Devonta Smith and Jalen Waddle, who combined for over 1,400 receiving yards and a total of 24 reception touchdowns.
The Tigers will have Derek Stingley Jr. at cornerback covering either Smith or Waddle when these two teams meet in November.
The battle between LSU and Alabama has a long, rich history. Alabama leads the all-time series 53-26-5. The Tide won eight straight between 2012-2019, including the 21-0 shutout in the 2012 BCS National Championship.
But now, LSU has the right man in Ed Orgeron to beat the Crimson Tide potentially every other year.
Every year, this game has SEC West division implications. It will be interesting to see which team earns a win in this historic rivalry this season.
