LSU football falls from US LBM Coaches Poll after loss

LSU was absent from the US LBM Coaches Poll when it dropped on Sunday morning

LSU football dropped its third straight game on Saturday, losing 27-16 to Florida in Gainesville. When the US LBM Coaches Poll dropped on Saturday, the Tigers were absent.

For the first time this season, LSU is unranked. At one point, the Tigers were 6-1 and in the College Football Playoff conversation. Now, LSU is 6-4 and just hoping to finish with a winning record.

LSU received just one vote.

The fall was expected. LSU entered Saturday ranked No. 22, but lost by two possessions to a below. 500 Florida team. A similar fall is expected when the AP Poll and College Football Playoff rankings are released.
