LSU receiver commit [autotag]Joseph Stone[/autotag] was on campus last month for Bayou Splash, and the 2024 four-star Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes prospect told On3 that he plans to be back in town for another trip soon.
Stone will be in Baton Rouge for the Tigers’ home opener against Grambling on Sept. 9, he told On3 recently. Stone’s Langston Hughes team began its high school season with a nationally televised win over Carrolton on Friday night.
There were concerns earlier this summer that Stone was wavering on his pledge after taking several trips to other programs, but he reaffirmed his commitment to LSU and shut down his recruitment.
Stone ranks within the top 300 nationally and is one of 23 commits in a 2024 class that currently ranks eighth in the country.
