LSU, Clemson open as CFP semifinal favorites

LSU is a double-digit favorite over Oklahoma and Clemson has a slim edge over Ohio State, according to Vegas for the CFP semifinals.

The combined record of the four teams in the College Football Playoff are 38-1. The team with the loss, Oklahoma, comes into its battle with LSU in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta as a huge underdog.

The Sooners, who lost to Kansas State in late October, are a 10-point underdog against the top-seeded Tigers.

In the other semifinal, Clemson is listed as an one-point favorite over Ohio State in a battle of teams that come in 13-0, respectively. The Tigers and Buckeyes will meet in the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, (Az).

Both games will be played on Dec 28. The CFP Championship Game will pit the winners of the semifinals in New Orleans on Jan. 13, 2020 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Another oddsmaker opened LSU as an 8.5-point favorite and bettors jumped all over the Tigers.
