[autotag]Tommy White[/autotag], the freshman phenom transfer from NC State, has decided to do something positive and impactful with the money he has earned from his NIL deals.
In an age where collegiate athletes can sign NIL deals to receive possibly a lot of money from businesses, these kids could spend this money on anything in the world. They could get a new car, some new clothes, and some even make enough money to buy their parents a house.
So, what would one of the best hitters in college baseball choose to do with his money? He decided to give it to charity.
Per On3:
White’s initiative has been dubbed, “Tiny Tanks” which is a play on his nickname Tommy Tanks. Plans are in place for him to also donate to Dreams Come True of Louisiana and Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital, both charitable organizations around LSU.
“I am excited to give back to the children of the Baton Rouge community through my Tiny Tanks charitable initiative,” White said in a statement. “Please join me in supporting this great foundation, Empower 225, as we help uplift children in need.”
What an initiative “Tiny Tanks” is and what an excellent thing for White to do. I can’t wait to see what he does for the Tigers this spring on the field, as well.
