LSU already has quite an impressive transfer haul, especially when it comes to pitchers. That group ranks as the best class in the country, but it could be about to get even better.
According to The Advocate’s Koki Riley, the Tigers are playing host to one of the top available transfer pitchers in UC San Diego’s [autotag]Anthony Eyanson[/autotag]. The Lakewood, California, native earned Second Team All-Big West honors as a sophomore in 2024, going 6-2 in 14 appearances with an impressive 3.07 ERA.
He struck out 85 batters while walking 24 across 82 total innings this past season. He was named to the USA Collegiate National Team this summer.

LSU suffered quite a few losses from its pitching staff this offseason, but it has replaced those players with quite a few talented transfer arms. If this weekend’s visit with Eyanson goes well, it could be poised to add another.
