The NFL draft is moving ahead next month, but due to the coronavirus pandemic and the travel restrictions that come along with it, it’s been difficult for NFL teams to do their due diligence in the weeks leading up the draft.
While the NFL Scouting Combine was able to take place before the pandemic put most of the country on lockdown, coaches and scouts have been unable to attend the usual pro day workouts most prospects hold. Fortunately, in this day and age of social media, there’s still a way for players to display their strength.
Take Louisville offensive Mekhi Becton for example. The big man has been projected to go anywhere from the top five all the way to 14 to the Buccaneers, who would love to get their hands on a big tackle like Becton to help protect newly signed quarterback Tom Brady.
Becton put his strength on full display recently, posting this video of him pushing a truck. After this, stopping a defensive lineman should be a piece of cake, right?
