Lou Williams gives Sixers guard Shake Milton shoutout after big game

Los Angeles Clippers guard Lou Williams gave Philadelphia 76ers guard Shake Milton love on Twitter.

Philadelphia 76ers guard Shake Milton was held out for a week after having to go through the league’s health and safety protocols concerning contact tracing. On Thursday, he returned to the floor and he made it look easy.

He hopped off the bench and he dropped 31 points, 19 in the first half, and he had seven assists to lead Philadelphia to a 125-108 win over the Miami Heat at home. He was impressive all night long and it looked like he did not miss a beat despite missing some time.

Milton got some love from a 6th man extraordinaire and somebody who thrived under coach Doc Rivers with the Los Angeles Clippers, Lou Williams. He acknowledged Milton on Twitter calling him a “killa” in his role in the win.

The Sixers have been working with Milton to become the team’s 6th man and he even said he was watching highlights of Williams to help him prepare for the role. Getting some love and a shoutout from Williams himself is something that will probably boost his confidence even more.
