The Cardinals’ bullpen is in rough shape Sunday after Helsley and Gallegos threw 26 and 18 pitches Saturday. Kershaw has also been exercising some demons against the Cards after some haunting playoff moments against them early in his career. Flaherty was awesome his last time out, but he flirts with disaster allowing 29 walks in 46 1/3 innings this year.
The Dodgers take it, but I think we can do better on the RL than the -150 ML. PASS.
Run line/Against the spread
The Dodgers have taken 4 of 6 against St. Louis, and Saturday was trending toward another victory late. They have the advantage on the hill and are in better shape in the pen. Look for them to fire out of the chute against a pitcher who loses the strike zone routinely. LA is 6-2 in the last 8 meetings, and I’m willing to go DODGERS -1.5 (+110).
