Moneyline.
BET ANGELS (+144).
It may be wishful thinking, but I do have my reasons. First of all, the Angels have played much better on the road than they have in Los Angeles. They also own a winning record (5-1 against left-handed pitching on the season. That may be because they are batting nearly .270 as a team against southpaws.
The Rangers have been just pedestrian at Globe Life this season. They are 11-11 and hitting under .250 as a team.
Run line/Against the spread
PASS.
I’m taking the shot on the Angels moneyline which means I’ll stay away from anything related to the run line.
Over/Under
PASS.
I just don’t see an edge to want to make a bet either way. The teams are 3-3 against the Over in their last 6 meetings. The Angels have been Over in 3 of their last 4 while the Rangers have been Under in 3 of their last 4.
I’m going to save my money for that moneyline play.
