The Diamondbacks (-188) will cost you nearly 2 times your potential return, and that’s way too risky with Pfaadt on the bump. While the Arizona RHP has much better splits at home than on the road, he has still been rather erratic this season.
However, the Angels (+158) also can’t be trusted on the road as moderate underdogs, as Canning is winless on the road, and so far he hasn’t looked like he has a clue away from home.
AVOID.
Run line/Against the spread
The ANGELS +1.5 (-138) are worth playing catching the run-and-a-half. Neither of these pitchers have been terribly consistent this season, and we should get a game that resembles batting practice or beer league softball, with runs aplenty, and the lead swapping hands frequently.
Over/Under
OVER 8.5 (-108) is the best play on the board in this interleague series finale.
