Former Nebraska defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was named the 2024 University of Nebraska Athletics Hall of Fame class on Thursday, June 27. Suh played for Nebraska from 2005-2009.
His 2009 season is one of the great individual seasons in Nebraska football history. In 14 games, he recorded 85 tackles, 20.5 tackles for loss, and 12.0 sacks.
Suh finished in fourth place for the Heisman Trophy and was named the AP Player of the Year for 2009. To this date, he is the only defensive player to have won the award.
