With there not much to play for this season, fans have officially shifted their focus to next season.
Even though we won’t know the schedule until April of next year, we know who the Los Angeles Chargers will be playing next season when they start a new era in SoFi Stadium, which will be shared with the Rams.
Here’s what we know:
Home: Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, Atlanta Falcons, New York Jets, Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots
Away: Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, Buffalo Bills, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints
Their last two opponents will be a team from the AFC South, which will be played at home and one from the AFC North, which will be played on the road.
The Chargers entered this past season in the middle of the pack in terms of strength of schedule. Looking ahead to next season, it should be a little bit more favorable.
We don’t know what the future looks like at quarterback, but with some improvements the offensive line, cornerback, defensive tackle and wide receiver position, Los Angeles could have a smooth route to the playoffs next year.
