After Wisconsin’s biggest rival received championship rings that included a celebration of their “shared” Big Ten West championship and ESPN College GameDay appearance, the Badger fan base found another way to poke fun at Minnesota.
One of the biggest problems that fans had with the ring was that, well, Minnesota did not actually win the Big Ten West. The team standing in Indianapolis were the Wisconsin Badgers, following a 38-17 victory over the Gophers in freezing conditions at TCF Bank Stadium.
Rising senior safety Madison Cone showed off the new championship rings for winning the division via his instagram.

Although there are now two Big Ten West championship rings out there, the true champions of the division now have the hardware to prove it.
