Washington will not have any change to its color scheme. It will still use burgundy and gold. The Redskins logo on the helmet will be replaced by the player’s number in gold. The Washington Football Team will debut its home uniforms in week 1 against the Eagles. pic.twitter.com/8DpC6b0Tyj

While the Washington Football Team uses these uniforms and helmets for the 2020 season, it will be seeking the feedback of players, alumni, fans, sponsors and the community for the new team name it will use at some point in the future, per sources.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Washington Football Team, which will be going by that name until a new mascot is chosen, will not be changing from their current color scheme of Burgundy & Gold.
While the 2020 season will be played as the ‘Football Team’ rather than ‘Redskins,’ the jerseys will remain relatively similar to the ones in the past, though they won’t have the former logo or team name featured anywhere on them. Unlike the former uniforms, the new mock-up features a helmet without the stripe down the middle, and it will feature each player’s number on the side, rather than the former team logo.
It may not be as cool as some of the mock-ups that we’ve seen circulating online for the past several weeks, but it’s a step forward in this process.
