Michigan football already has one five-star recruit committed in the 2024 class: quarterback Jadyn Davis. This weekend, the Wolverines are courting two more in hopes of growing the list and expanding the talent of the No. 2 class in the country.

Both players in Ann Arbor might be a long shot, but that’s why you get talent to campus whenever you can. Five-star wide receiver Ryan Wingo and defensive tackle Justin Scott have predictions they’ll end up elsewhere, but their interest in Michigan is genuine enough that they utilized official visits. And thanks to 247Sports director of recruiting Steve Wiltfong, we’ve been given a glimpse of what both would look like wearing maize and blue.

Wingo, who hails from St. Louis (Mo.) University, is the No. 7 prospect in the country and the nation’s second-best wide receiver per 247Sports. He has one prediction indicating he’ll pick Georgia.

Scott is the No. 12 player nationally in the 247Sports composite and the third-best defensive tackle. He has two predictions, one indicating Miami will be his choice, the other Notre Dame.
