It was seemingly another successful weekend on the Forty Acres for Steve Sarkisian and his staff.
Numerous highly rated prospects from the 2023 recruiting class were on campus and expressed their excitement via social media. For some, such as four-star running back John Randle Jr., the visit helped to get to know the coaching staff and officially receive an offer.
There were also several of Texas’ top targets on campus that Sarkisian has been pursuing hard for quite some time now. Five-star running back Rueben Owens, five-star linebacker Anthony Hill, and four-star wide receiver Johntay Cook were in Austin on Saturday and are seemingly frequent visitors in Austin. Continuing to progress those relationships will be vital for Texas’ 2023 class.
Jalen Brown, Desmond Umeozulu, Jaden Greathouse, Kyle Parker and Cameron Cook were also among the 20+ recruits on campus and were able to capture a glimpse of their visit.
