He’s still got it.

Yes, it’s a different look, seeing Tom Brady in a Tampa Bay Buccaneers uniform rather than a New England Patriots one — the one he wore for 19 years. But the former Michigan quarterback has made himself right at home in his first game for the Bucs.

Playing in New Orleans against the Saints, while there’s been some national wonder if it’s been Brady or Belichick responsible for the Pats’ success, Brady is out to answer, ‘Why not both?’ With Cam Newton under center, the Patriots rolled, but early in Brady’s first game in a new uniform, he proved how good he still is at 43-years old, tossing a 29-yard pass to former Penn State star Chris Godwin on his first pass attempt for Tampa Bay.

Brady capitalized on the drive, running it in for a TD to put the Bucs up 7-0 on the Saints.

There’s still plenty of time left in this Drew Brees vs. Tom Brady redux that we haven’t seen since Purdue and Michigan faced each other more than 20 years ago.

But we’re not counting out the G.O.A.T.
