While much of the offseason discussions have surrounded the arrival of Arch Manning and progress of Quinn Ewers, the Longhorns’ room of signal callers went viral on Friday for a different reason.
Based off Maalik Murphy’s Twitter post of the members of Texas’ quarterback room, the Torre Becton summer workout program is in full effect. The physically fit group of Texas quarterbacks posed for a picture during what appears to be a lifting session.

While there wasn’t a quarterback battle this offseason, the expectation following what could be a very successful season for Ewers is that there will be next season. The future battle will be between former four-star Maalik Murphy and the 2023 No. 1 overall recruit Arch Manning.
While we don’t know what the future holds for the Longhorns at quarterback, we do know they’re putting in the work.
