The Longhorns are pulling out all the stops for five-star quarterback Arch Manning.
Manning is Texas’ priority target for the 2023 recruiting class and is the only quarterback Steve Sarkisian offered this cycle. The consensus No. 1 recruit in the country recently locked in official visits with Georgia, Alabama and Texas throughout the month of June.
The Longhorns will receive Manning’s third and final official visit on June 18. This could only increase Texas’ chances with him, as it will likely be the last pitch he hears before possibly making a decision.
According to On3’s Sam Spiegelman, Texas quarterbacks coach AJ Milwee attended Manning’s spring game on Friday. Alabama, LSU and Georgia each had a representative present as well.
Milwee and Sarkisian have a great relationship with Manning, and it could ultimately be what sets them apart from the rest when it’s all said and done.
