No. 2 Texas is officially on the way to Iowa to face No. 15 Colgate in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday evening.
The game will be aired on TBS at 6:25 p.m. CT. Many believe if the Longhorns are able to get past the first two rounds of the tournament, they’re likely poised for a Final Four appearance.
If Texas is able to defeat Colgate as expected, it sets them up for a Round of 32 matchup against either Texas A&M or Penn State.
The Longhorns finished with a No. 5 ranking in the final AP Top 25 Poll, tied for the highest final ranking in school history. Rodney Terry’s squad is hoping to add to the storied history of the University of Texas men’s basketball program this postseason.
