Look: Rams rookies visited SoFi Stadium for the first time

The Rams’ rookies visited SoFi Stadium for the first time, giving them a field view of their new home.

Rams rookies went through their first week of OTAs in Thousand Oaks at the team’s headquarters, but they hadn’t yet paid their new home stadium a visit. That changed on Friday when the Rams treated their rookies to their first trip to SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.

Players were on the field taking pictures and videos of the magnificent $5 billion stadium, in complete awe of the Oculus video board that hangs overhead. They shared a video of Tutu Atwell on the field at SoFi, getting a look at his name and photo on the Oculus above the field.

Fourth-round rookie Bobby Brown III had a similar reaction upon taking the field and looking up at his name on the screen. He tweeted about it afterwards, too, fully realizing that he’s made it to the NFL.

Seventh-round pick Jake Funk pretended to score a touchdown on the field when visiting the Rams’ home stadium. Hopefully he finds the end zone for real a few times as a rookie, either on offense or special teams.
