Quarterback Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders were back on the field Thursday for Day 2 of training camp. It was another solid showing from Daniels, who split first-team reps with veteran Marcus Mariota.
By all accounts, Daniels has looked more like the veteran through the first two practices. The rookie has made some highlight-reel throws, displaying uncanny accuracy.
It’s always difficult this early in camp to fairly judge each position, but we’ve seen some fun battles between the receivers and cornerbacks. Veteran tight end Zach Ertz has already made his presence felt.
