Look: Officials appeared to miss a block in the back on Ravens’ game-winning TD

The Ravens appeared to commit a block in the back penalty on their game-winning touchdown, but officials missed it

The Los Angeles Rams only have themselves to blame for their heartbreaking overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens after missing multiple tackles on Tylan Wallace’s game-winning touchdown, but the officials also had a bad miss on that play.

Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports shared a video of Wallace’s return and there appears to be a clear block in the back committed by the Ravens. There’s no way to know for sure if the Rams player would’ve made the tackle, had he not been shoved in the back, but the penalty would’ve negated the Ravens’ touchdown.

Again, the Rams had opportunities to make the tackle on Wallace, but the officials missed a crucial penalty in the biggest moment.

This isn’t the only play Rams fans will have a gripe with. Aaron Donald seemed to be getting held throughout the game, yet Baltimore wasn’t flagged for holding once. Again, the officials aren’t to blame for the Rams’ loss, but they certainly didn’t help Los Angeles’ cause.
