Baltimore balked at putting cornerback Marlon Humphrey on injured reserve after he had foot surgery during training camp, believing he’d only miss a few games.
The Pro Bowl cornerback has missed the first three games, but after a Week 1 win, head coach John Harbaugh hinted at Humphrey returning any day now.
That day could be Sunday against Cleveland if Humphrey’s mood and playful antics are any indication.

Humphrey was given a four- to six-week prognosis after the Aug. 16 foot surgery, and he’s right on schedule for a Week 5 debut against Pittsburgh, allowing him a week to rev up his conditioning.
