Former Alabama running back Kenyan Drake is, unfortunately, no stranger to injury. The talented back has suffered several injuries in both his time in Tuscaloosa and his time in the NFL.
Now with the Las Vegas Raiders, Drake has suffered yet another injury and will miss the remainder of the 2021 season with a broken ankle.
Late Sunday night Drake took to Twitter to voice his concerns on player safety with a video of the play in which he was injured.
Graphic Video Warning: The #NFL needs to look at this specific style of tackling. They are throwing flags for taunting and protecting qbs from getting touched but this is my 2nd straight season being injured by a guy pulling me back and using his body weight to roll up my legs. pic.twitter.com/zgJt4rM9yG
