Former Alabama wide receiver Henry Ruggs III had quite an impact during his time with the Crimson Tide, but he seemed to only reach national attention after his junior season while preparing for the NFL combine.
His speed, which is what sets him apart from most, helped boost him all the way to being the first receiver selected in the 2020 NFL draft at No. 12 overall by the Las Vegas Raiders, just three picks before his former Alabama teammate Jerry Jeudy.
Earlier this week, Ruggs’ contract details were released, but he had not yet signed.
Today, Ruggs posted a picture to his Instagram account that shows him putting pen to paper on a $16.67 million deal through four years with the team’s option to add a fifth season.
