Former Michigan State starting quarterback Brian Lewerke is excited for Harlon Barnett as he takes over as the Spartans’ acting head coach this week.
Lewerke showed his support for Barnett through a tweet on Wednesday where he stated Barnett is “one of the best dudes I’ve ever been around.” Lewerke played for the Spartans while Barnett was a member of the team’s coaching staff.
