While several members of Texas’ 2021 recruiting class are already on campus and took part in spring training, twelve more high school signees and three new transfers arrived to the Forty Acres over the weekend.
The top signee for Texas in the 2021 cycle is five-star athlete Ja’Tavion Sanders. First-year head coach Steve Sarkisian has stated that Sanders will begin his collegiate career on the offensive side of the ball, but it’s certainly possible that he becomes a two-way player and/or excels at the Jack position in Pete Kwiatkowski’s defense as well.
Regardless of where he’s placed, Sanders is expected to make an immediate impact as a true freshman for the Longhorns.
On Sunday, Sanders’ mother Jennifer shared the happy moment of Texas’ top signee arriving on campus and moving in to his dorm room. Several close family members and friends were present for the next step of his career.
