Former five-star quarterback Quinn Ewers is the hottest commodity in the transfer portal right now, and Texas is very much in the race. He arrived to Austin on Saturday for what appears to be his final visit before making a decision.
Steve Sarkisian’s staff is pulling out all the stops to persuade the former Ohio State quarterback to commit to Texas by having an abundance of other star recruits and notable alumni like Sam Ehlinger in attendance.
All the pageantry is to impress Ewers, who many believe would be the quarterback to finally lead Texas back to its former glory that once saw them atop the college football mountain.

If the Longhorns can secure a commitment from Ewers, the amount of talent that will follow him will be program changing, something Sarkisian badly needs in order to turn around what was a train wreck in his first season.
