LOOK: Fan gets tattoo of Josh Jacobs

Former Alabama RB Josh Jacobs played well in his rookie season. A fan decided to memorialize Jacobs in a Raiders jersey in a tattoo.

Former Alabama running back Josh Jacobs was relatively quiet with the Crimson Tide until his junior season, after which he decided to forego his senior season, enter the 2019 NFL draft and became the first running back selected in the draft by the then-Oakland Raiders.

Despite rushing for 1,150 yards and seven touchdowns on 242 carries in his rookie season, Jacobs was beaten out by Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray for 2019 Offensive Rookie of the Year distinction, an honor that many thought belonged to the Alabama product.

Jacobs is seen as a young star that can help the Raiders earn league-wide respect and gain early playoff considerations.

One Raiders fan holds Jacobs above the rest of the roster, a praise so high that it is worthy of a permanent commemoration outside of the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

This fan got a tattoo of Josh Jacobs on his arm.

The tweet from the Jacobs-tattoo wearer includes the picture and a caption that reads “Mvp.”

Jacobs responds by saying “Speechless.”

Many replies under the tweet discuss the quality of the tattoo and if it looks like the young running back, to which Jacobs responds under his own tweet saying “It’s the thought that counts.”
