Standout Alabama linebacker Dylan Moses has made it publicly known, via an Instagram post, that he won’t be returning to Alabama, but will instead be declaring for the 2021 NFL draft.
Moses has been a star player and an important leader for the Crimson Tide defense in his time with the program.
Originally a five-star recruit out of Louisiana, Moses has turned into a playmaker that demands the spotlight.
He was expected to enter the 2020 NFL draft, after missing the entire 2019 season due to a torn ACL before the season began. However, he shocked many when he decided to return.
Throughout his three active seasons with Alabama, Moses has tallied 192 tackles, six sacks, 21.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions, four pass deflections and three forced fumbles.
Moses is expected to be drafted in one of the earlier rounds, but not a guaranteed first-round selection like his offensive counterparts that have declared.
In Moses’ Instagram post, he thanks his coaches and teammates, as well as a special thank you to coach Nick Saban.
