LOOK: Current Texas quarterbacks pose with Vince Young

When discussing quarterbacks at the University of Texas, it does not get any bigger than Vince Young. The 2005 national championship winner will not only forever be the most well-liked Texas football player of all time, but probably the greatest.

Young attended Saturday’s scrimmage, watching both Hudson Card and Casey Thompson compete for the starting job. One week away from the spring game and Young should still be wondering why it has not clicked yet for either of them.

Sarkisian mentioned how both are progressing well in his press conference but still needed to fix some mistakes, especially in the red zone.

Young posed for a photo with the two battling quarterbacks, plus freshman Charles Wright and sophomore Ben Ballard. Texas Football’s official Twitter account released it on Saturday.

You can see it below:

Young was recently hired by Texas athletic director Chris Del Conte and the athletic department as a special assistant. When your greatest player bleeds burnt orange the way Young does, getting him involved in every way possible is essential.
