LOOK: Chase Winovich nabs first career INT

Turns out, Donovan Peoples-Jones isn’t the only former Wolverine from the 2018 team that’s having himself a day in the NFL.

The New England Patriots have been something of an up-and-down team this season, with injuries up front and new starter Cam Newton being relatively inconsistent at the quarterback position. But on Sunday, as the Patriots absolutely annihilate the Los Angeles Chargers, former Michigan football defensive end Chase Winovich wanted to make sure his name is known.

Chargers QB Justin Herbert dropped back with time in the pocket and looked to hit on a dig route, but Winovich anticipated it, jumping in front and netting his first career interception.
