2021 was a special season for first-year Alabama starting quarterback Bryce Young. Young led his team to an SEC Championship and a birth in the college football playoffs.
Aside from the great team accomplishments, Young also collected the most prestigious individual award in the sport, bringing home the Heisman Trophy. Young was the first Alabama quarterback to win the coveted trophy.
Young has now added to his trophy collection by winning the Manning Award which is given to the nation’s top quarterback.
Alabama announced the award on its official Twitter account earlier today.
