Bills safety Jordan Poyer’s status… does not appear to be good.
Through a few days of practices ahead of facing the Vikings (7-1), the safety has not participated.
As of Friday, he was already ruled out. We know… and can see… why.
While not wearing any sort of brace is a good sign, Poyer’s showing arm revealed a lot of swelling. On Thursday, Spectrum News shared a video of Poyer’s elbow and it’s clear to see something is still wrong.
Noticing the clip, Bills injury analyst “Banged Up Bills” on Twitter, said it did not seem likely that the Bills (6-2) defender could play against the Vikings.
His season has been injury plagued and just by looking at the swelling, sitting out another week might be an easy decision for the team and player. Analysis provided speculated that Poyer might have a hard time making tackles with such a problem.
Check out the clip and injury breakdown below:
That elbow is looking like Bruce Smith’s elbows we saw over the summer.
Still a lot of swelling, he isn’t able to move it much during running.
Even if there’s a brace on there to play, I’m not sure how well he’d be able to tackle. #Bills https://t.co/Ad3OkltniD
